Crowns, often known as cap, is a type of dental restoration which encapsulates a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth. Crowns can be made from various materials, namely porcelain and gold and are manufactured using indirect methods.
Bridge
A bridge is a fixed restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth. This is achieved by crowning the teeth on either side of the edentulous (missing tooth) space, and joining an artificial tooth in the middle.
